Since Avery first joined Systems in 2014, his goal has always been to live as independently as possible. Because he lives with high anxiety, sharing a group home with housemates
Through this program in Iowa City, Cedar Rapids, and Monticello, you or your loved one will build relationships with others, explore self-expression through art, volunteer in the community, and visit area attractions. We can also help pursue jobs in the community and provide the support needed to maintain employment.
For those living in a home with others we serve or those living independently in their own apartment, Systems provides support so they can achieve their goals and become as independent as possible.
Systems Unlimited has a team of licensed ABA therapists, behavioral support professionals, and Medical Care Coordinators to ensure your loved one receives innovative services to overcome life challenges.
Lend a few hours of your day to helping our staff fulfill a specific need, or provide assistance during special events.
Give a financial donation to help us advance our mission, or donate gently used items.
Support artists with disabilities who contribute to Iowa’s creative communities. Purchase t-shirts, mugs, and other items from the Artists at SUI online store.

Doris has been involved with Artists at SUI since 2018. She loves working on nature-inspired watercolor and acrylic paintings, sewing cozy and functional items, and working with yarn.
Johnny is a well-known artist who creates facial portraits adorned with bright, colorful patterns, wide eyes, and toothy smiles. He observes photos of celebrities he idolizes to inspire his art.
Tashiba uses various mediums to express her love of pop culture, wish well on others, and make gifts for her friends and family. She enjoys designing merchandise to sell in the art studio because she loves to see people wearing her designs.
