DESCRIPTION:Systems Unlimited\, Inc. has started a fundraiser to assist with purchasing home technology devices and accessories for the people we serve.  These items will allow individuals living with intellectual disabilities and mental health needs to access activities\, sensory apps\, artistic tools\, virtual day and art programming. SUMMARY:2020 Awards Ceremony
DESCRIPTION:The 2020 Awards Ceremony has been a tradition for many years where we as an agency take time to celebrate the people we serve and their achievements. Despite the pandemic making it look different\, we are determined to keep this tradition alive. We have cancelled the Marriott event due to continued high community spread of COVID-19. Instead\, a management team member will record the reason why the person won the award. We are then going to make available to the staff and the family of the winner a chance to video record how proud they are of that person for their achievement. \nThis is the part where it gets fun and we could use your help. On October 2nd\, we are going to do a “Congratulations” parade where staff can get in their cars and drive by with signs in their windows. Each winner will receive their award by Casey with balloons and flowers\, which will all be recorded. Afterwards\, everything will be put together in a video to be viewed by staff and made into a disc for each of the award winners. We will be doing this in all areas that are winners.
