Systems Unlimited’s “Live Your Best Life 5k” is returning this year even bigger and better! \nJoin us at Terry Trueblood in Iowa City on Sunday\, October 8th for our “Life Your Best Life Sensory Run and 1-Mile” to raise funds to help cover funding gaps and ensure the people we serve live their best life. \nWant to participate\, but you are unavailable on October 8th\, or need more than one day to complete a 5k? No problem! You can do our event virtually and complete the distance over the span of one week. \n  \nWhat is a Sensory Run? \nDo you know that EVERYONE has unique sensory needs and sensory preferences? It is true! \nFor those we serve\, being aware that someone has specific sensory needs can be essential to successful services and leading a fulfilling and happy life. This being such an important part of Systems Unlimited\, we decided to make our event sensory-themed. \nThroughout the 5k and 1-mile routes\, sensory stations will be set up to engage the participant’s senses.
