DESCRIPTION:Systems Unlimited’s 2024 Wizard of Oz Tree.\nCelebrate the season of giving at the Festival of Trees! This multi-day celebration transforms part of the Lindale Mall into a sparkling winter wonderland filled with beautifully decorated trees\, festive lights\, and joyful holiday displays that capture the spirit of the season. \nVisitors can stroll through\, enjoying all of the unique trees decorated by local organizations\, businesses\, and community groups. This year\, you will be able to find a tree with ornaments made by our Cedar Rapids Day Program. Last year\, the people we serve voted and decided to make a Grinch-themed tree for this season. They are working hard to make a tree that is so spectacular it might even make your heart grow three sizes! 💗 \nEvery year\, the Festival of Trees brings the community together to celebrate while also making a difference. Through the tree auction and product drive donations\, the event supports local nonprofits that provide vital services in Eastern Iowa. This year\, proceeds from the tree auction will benefit Young Parents Network (YPN)\, an organization that empowers young families through education\, support\, and community connection. In addition\, product drive donations will support Foundation 2 Crisis Services\, helping individuals and families in need of immediate support and crisis intervention. \nWhether you come to admire the artistry\, bid on your favorite tree\, or simply soak in the festive atmosphere\, the Festival of Trees is a heartwarming experience for all ages.
