Staff Training

Recognizing that one of Systems Unlimited Inc.’s (SUI) Core Values is “Constant Learning Allows for Constant Improvements”, SUI has developed an extensive training process for all new employees. Training for new employees consists of a combination of classroom training, on-line training, reading materials, video and DVD training, on-the-job training, and workshops. We expect a high level of performance and autonomy from our employees, and therefore we place a high priority on training and training completion. SUI is committed to the continual growth of our individuals, employees, and the organization as a whole.

SUI has developed over 25 classes that promote the learning and growth of our employees. Some classes are required by Iowa law, some by funding stream regulations, and some by SUI itself. In the Employee Handbook that all new employees receive, there is a description of available classes, as well as what specific classes are required for specific positions within the agency.
