Elderly Services

Systems Unlimited, Inc. believes that everyone is important—that is why respite care can be set up as short-term relief, from one hour up to two weeks. The services are intended to provide relief to families or individuals who are the primary care taker for an aging relative. Respite allows family members to be more rested, well-rounded, and better able to cope with stress and/or to "take a break".

Respite services can take place in your home or in the community. Respite providers are available to assist with the person's basic needs and wants. Respite providers can participate in a broad range of activities with the person, including attending to personal needs and some medical needs. Any activity the person wishes to participate in the community is at the cost of the person or family member. Since respite services are designed to give family members a break, respite is not available while the family member is at work or attending school.
