Services for Individuals

Chapter 24

People not eligible for the Medicaid Waiver program can access funding for similar services through the Chapter 24 program. This program allows individuals to access supported community living services through Systems Unlimited with the county of legal settlement funding the services. Systems provides these services to people with a developmental disability, mental retardation, and mental illness. Most individuals live in their own home, but services can be provided to individuals living with other family members. Support services can range from one hour of service per month to daily support.
