Family Systems - Funding Options
Family Systems has a variety of funding options available:
Title 19 Therapy
- Funding source: Medicaid.
- Location: Private setting at school or Family Systems office.
- Service offered: Individual or group therapy for children at school to process their emotions.
- Information required for referral: Child's name, Child's DaB, and contact information
for the family.
- Staff qualified to provide service: Persons licensed at the master's level
(Le. L1SW, LMSW, LMFT, LMHC).
Remedial Services
- Funding source: Medicaid/Title 19.
- Location: Private setting at school, in the home, out in the community, or Family Systems office.
- Service offered: Skill building services for children (both individually and with their families) and crisis intervention. Can teach skills including: anger management, coping skills, communication, social skills, problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution, etc.
- Information required for referral: Child's name, Child's DOB, and contact information for the family.
- Staff qualified to provide service: All Family Systems staff.
- Descriptions of Remedial services
Children's Mental Health Waiver
- Funding source: State funded through the Children's Mental Health Waiver program.
- Location: Private setting at school, in the home, out in the community, or Family Systems office.
- Service offered: Therapy, Family and Community Support, and Respite. Therapy services involve both the individual child and the family and focus on assisting children in processing their emotions. Family and Community Support is a skill building service which focuses on helping children develop skills to deal with their mental health symptoms. Respite is an opportunity for parents to alleviate some of the stresses that come along with parenting a child with significant mental health issues.
- Information required for referral: An application must be filled out to apply for this service. Family Systems can provide the application if so desired.
- Staff qualified to provide service: :AII Family Systems staff are qualified to provide the Family and Community Support and Respite services. Family Systems staff with at least two years experience working with children are qualified to provide Therapy through the Children's Mental Health Waiver.
- Funding source: Private insurance.
- Location: Private setting at school or Family Systems office.
- Service offered: Individual or group therapy for children at school to process their emotions.
- Information required for referral: Insurance information off family's insurance card and contact information for the family.
- Staff qualified to provide service: Persons licensed at the independent level (Le. L1SW, LMFT, LMHC)
